Our Spring 2018 Young Eagles Rally is scheduled to kick off at Miami Executive Airport on Saturday morning Feb. 17th. We’ll be accepting applications on-site from 9:00 am through noon. The airport (also known as Kendall-Tamiami) meeting location is under the open-air ‘tikki hut’ at 14300 S.W. 129th Street Miami, FL 33186. Pre-flight “ground-school” lessons for students of all ages are taught all morning long.
Park vehicles anywhere along the field across the street and walk to the gate. There the groups will be greeted by a safety volunteer and escorted to the ramp.
In case of inclement weather an optional raincheck schedule may be offered to fly another day.
The flight participants ages 8 to 17 will be awarded a Logbook and a personalized Certificate (suitable for framing) officially signed by their Captain/Pilot.
Any questions or comments please can be addressed to Rick Sante by voice or text at mobile # 305-607-4282 or email email@example.com.

About the Organizers
Young Eagles is an aviation program established in 1992 by the US Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA.org) in Oshkosh, WI. It is designed to give children between the ages of 8 to 17 year old an opportunity to participate in flying in a small airplane while applying STEM principles inherent to flight. The airplane rides are offered completely FREE of charge and all costs are fully covered by the Chapter volunteers. More info can be found at www.YoungEagles.org
No reservations are required and everyone is invited. Just show up at any time from 9am to 12 noon and register using the forms readily available at the Reception Desk, which takes parents (or guardians) about 5 minutes to fill out.
